Kindergarten Curriculum Overview

  • We utilize Enduring Faith Bible curriculum provided by Concordia Publishing House. Throughout the year we will explore 8 key concepts.

    Concepts and biblical stories are explored through various learning elements including crafts, videos and interactive activities.

  • We utilize Sadlier math for our curriculum. Students will learn:

    • Sorting

    • Counting, writing, and comparing numbers 0-5, 6-10, & 0-10

    • 2D & 3D shapes

    • Position & location

    • Break apart numbers 10 or less

    • Addition & subtraction within 10

    • Count, write and order numbers 11-20

    • Break apart numbers 11-19

    • Measurements

    • Count, write, and order numbers to 31

    • Numbers to 100

    • Time

    • Money

  • We utilize Fundations® for our phonics curriculum. Throughout the year, students will learn:

    • Phonological awareness

    • Sound mastery

    • Letter name, formation, sound

    • High frequency “trick” words

    • Fluency

  • We utilize Social Studies Alive! curriculum. Students will focus on their role & presence within the world and the areas they can make an impact. Those areas include:

    • History

    • Civics

    • Geography

    • Economics

  • We utilize Kinderscience for our curriculum. Students will focus on:

    • Life science

    • Earth science

    • Physical science

    • Space & machines

    • Five senses & forces
